We didn't have a very exciting week this past week, but we did have fun! This is Layne (Hannah Montana), last Tuesday, in her new favorite outfit that she wears every other day (every day that it's not being washed - she has it on right now actually). 
Here is Sam on Saturday morning practicing his skateboard tricks. He actually fell about 10 minutes before this picture and we thought he broke his arm - he didn't thankfully, but it did require more pads to be put on. I'm not sure how it was possible to be more padded, but he found a way! 
And we of course had to get a picture of Bertie climbing up the tree and onto the roof of our house. (The kids think she is secretly a mountain lion!) 
On Sunday night we decided to use some of Adrian's new campfire wood, and the kids insisted on Smores. So here they are roasting marshmallows in the living room. (Josie said it was the Best marshmallow she has Ever had!) 
It has been raining the past couple of days, and those of you that know Layne, know that she is always dressed appropriately. This morning she insisted on wearing her rain jacket to drop off Sam and Josie at school (even though she would not even be getting out of the car!) Josie thought she looked silly because it messed up her hair, Sam loved her in the rain jacket though because he said it looked like she had a Mohawk. She really didn't care what anyone thought, she was ready!

I wish I could write as well as you do.. some of the things that happen here.... wow!!! anyway, maybe next time we are at my parents we can get together.. they only live about an hour and a half away from you.. and are in Lubbock all of the time.. we miss you guys!!! I love Layne in the rain coat! As you know, I also always have to be dressed for any occasion! Thank goodness Sam wasn't hurt that bad, that is all you guys need is a broken arm! Miss you guys! Love MIMI
