January in Texas

On Saturday we took the kids, and dogs, on a walk/bike ride to a close park. We all had a good time. The kids played on the playground and threw Sam's new boomerang around, while Adrian worked with Scout. (We are training her to be a good dog! - She's actually doing a great job.)


This was the longest bike ride where Layne had to peddle herself. She was so excited, and thought she was so big, but she didn't quite make it all the way back on the bike.
On Sunday we couldn't find the dogs, then noticed them both in Lucy's little crate - I don't know how they both fit in there, but they love it and we have found them in there together several times since.
On Monday the kids didn't have school. It was in the 70's, so we had a picnic lunch.
