Happy Birthday Vicki!!!!

Today is my friend Vicki's Birthday. For her birthday I am giving her a picture of me on the blog. She is always in need of her "Emily Fix", so I thought I would hook her up! Enjoy! Have a happy, happy day! I love ya!

Last Thursday was Crazy Hair Day at the kids school. Sam managed to get 4 Mohawks on his head (he had another one going down the back) and Josie just went with bed head.

At one of Adrian's job sites, the customer wanted him to tear down a nice swing set that they didn't really use anymore, so Adrian brought it to our house. The kids have already found many ways to try and hurt themselves on it.

We finally broke down and bought a pop up camper. We popped it up on Saturday and and the kids LOVE IT!

For Valentine's day, we had a romantic dinner. When I say "we", I mean the 5 of us. (Now that we have kids, a romantic dinner includes all of us.) By the way, Sam asked me like 5 times if I would be his Valentine - I of course said "yes" every time! And Adrian had 3 Valentine's (nothing has changed since he's been married!). For dinner we all got dressed up fancy - cologne, make up, jewelry and all. We had spaghetti with heart shaped meatballs and heart shaped garlic bread with wine/champagne glasses. We ate by candle light and listened to Celine Dion. It was very nice!

The girls love their new socks Mamaw and Papaw sent them - and Sam loved his belt, but he was too busy doing his puzzle to get in the picture!

Today, as I started to update the blog, (I try to walk on the treadmill when I'm on the computer), Layne got her fingers sucked up into the treadmill. It was pretty traumatic. Both her middle and ring finger on her right hand have the skin scraped off with oozing puss and blisters on the finger tips - it actually looks like a 3rd degree burn all down both fingers. Adrian immediately came home and turned our dining room into an ER. If she had broken the fingers, we would have taken her to the ER, but thankfully she can bend them a little, so Adrian did at home, what they would have done at the hospital. But after he bandaged her all up, it obviously still hurt her, and she looked at him and said, "I told you, you guys couldn't do anything to help me!"

Poor Layne! She is so funny. I hope you guys are having fun down(over?) there. I love reading your blog!
