Happy 9th Birthday Josie!!!

Yesterday was Josie's 9th Birthday. She had a Pink Monkey Pool Party and invited a few girls from school. She did miss having a big family party, but she still had a lot of fun! Josie playing "Give the Monkey a Banana" - she was giving the Banana to the wrong Monkey! All the girls and Jason (The Baboon). He was given a Banana by Savannah. Having fun at the party... Last Thursday, Sam had his 1st grade musical. It was about a garden. He was one of the farmers! Sam the Farmer with Patrick the Weed! Sam had the opening line. Here is a video clip...



Last Saturday we went to "Ranch Day's" at the Ranching Heritage Center. There was a lot of "work" for the kids to do around the ranch. It was a beautiful day and we all had fun! Sam and Josie building a house. (Really just getting muddy and smashing the mud into the bricks!) Josie, Sam, and Layne making ropes. My little cowpokes riding horses. The kids working hard to make cornmeal. Sam and Adrian shooting with a bow and arrow. They "worked" really hard and got paid for all they did, then got to go spend their hard earned cash at the general store!
