Nothing Much Going On

Hey everybody! Hope all are doing well. Josie was awarded Student of the month at her school. When you walk in the school entrance you can see her picture posted. We are so proud of her. She is such a good girl - and growing up so fast! This is a picture of her last night doing her homework. She was reading a horse book to the cat. (Bertie was lovin it!)
On Sunday we went for our first family bike ride in Lubbock. We just biked a couple of blocks to a nearby playground and let the kids play. We sure do miss our bike rides. We used to ride about 6 miles a couple times a week on the park trail that backed up to our neighborhood. The kids were so happy and thankful that we went.

When we got back from our ride apparently Sam threw his frisbee on top of the house. The girls came running inside screaming that Sam was on the roof. I immediately assumed that he climbed up there himself, but no, Adrian had given him a boost (I think mostly because Adrian didn't want to have to climb on the roof himself). After getting the frisbee, he just had to enjoy the view. His comment was, "This is the life!"


I forgot to mention a couple of weeks ago that we painted Layne's room. She loves it! She chose the colors and we painted her ceiling fan together. All she needs now is a bed. She doesn't seem to mind too much sleeping in Josie's room. I think all the kids like having her room empty. They are always in there singing and dancing.
